Here goes....

A very big thank you to all for your Welcome.

Today I do my first post, so.....

It should improve as time goes by....

BUSINESS
I have always believed that reward is measured by effort.
Lately I've been wondering about that....

My wife and I each have our own little home business, she is a firm believer in Herbalife (so am I), and I sell AVON.

Now can somebody please tell me why it is that I, who does not put a lot of effort, very little in fact, make more money than what Avryl does?

On average Avryl spends 4 hours a day on her business. I spend less than 1/2 an hour every two days....

Is it the desireability of the Product? Is it the price?

If there are any marketing genii out there that can shed some light and/ or perspective, we would appreciate it.

I must admit that even though Avryl knows more about her products than I do mine I am a lot more.....not aggressive..... maybe arrogant! I don't try to sell my products. You want it or you don't! Finish! Move on...

LEISURE AND PLEASURE

I've just been to pick up the boat I'll be using at the South African Radio Sailing National Championships.

It is Mike Summers' boat and I know it goes like the clappers. I only hope I can do it some justice....

I haven't sailed at National level since 1992, so I'm just a tad nervous. The Nats start in a week and I'm still trying to track down the products that were sent to me at the beginning of the week. The errant product is for the competitors at the Nats, and we're making up the baggies this week-end.

I'm sure all will resolve itself, even though management by crisis has never appealed!

Personal

I must brag. Just a bit!
While my daughter was still in primary school we were considering taking her out of school at the end of Grade 10. She was wasting our time money and energy.

To cut a long story short we (1) Gave her a pep talk about 8 months ago; (2) Enrolled her with Human Progress Management 7 months ago; and (3) Started her on N.R.G. 4 months ago.

6 Months ago her term mark was 58%, end of last year it was 63%, this past term it was 83%!!!!

Now is that great or is that great!!!!

Not only that, From in that half of the class that made the top half possible, she finished #3 in her grade!!!!

I am really, really proud of my baby.

Help me out on this...

As a total techno wreck I will probably struggle quite a bit with this, so, please be patient...
